The experience we had together in the first NYN Summit was really incredible, we can safely say that all the effort we put into making this event was fully rewarded, since we started this adventure 1 st of June of 2010 in our small but cozy office in Shibuya, We worked hard giving our best to achieve our ultimate goal, which is unite young Nikkei people around the world, a dream that we want to realize through "Kizuna", bonds of brotherhood.

In the two days of the event one could feel the fraternal bond in every corner of the room. Young people from different countries like Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Chile, U.S., Germany, Spain, Colombia, Libya, El Salvador, Bolivia, Argentina, Hawaii and Paraguay, no matter where they come from or what language they spoke, everyone was having fun and exchanged ideas with friendship being born spontaneously.

Activities began early Saturday 16 October in the building of The Nippon Foundation, where began the NYN Summit 2010 A warm welcome

by the members of the Nikkei Youth Network, then proceeded the exhibitions in Pecha Kucha Style, of 10 Nikkei youth leaders from various countries invited by the organization, After having lunch together we went by bus to Yoyogi Park to start a game that served to interact in order to find several points, at the evening we went to the Pink Cow to have fun but also to collaborate in the party called Beers for Books where every drink served meant a donation of one book to countries in need, together we provided 118 books.

Sunday 17 th, we returned to the The Nippon Foundation to start the activities we formed various groups to develop new projects that would serve to bring more to the new Nikkei generation, many innovative ideas

will be launched, on that evening we went to Favela Restaurant where we closed the event with the party named Parties for Peace, in which we raised Y30, 000 for charitable activities, by that time we were all friends, had achieved the goal, and created the bond of brotherhood, the "Kizuna"..

We are more than satisfied, our work was worthwhile and the goals are accomplished, together we can achieve great things, together it is easier to achieve our dreams, this is what Nikkei Youth Network is for, this is just beginning, the network is running, just waiting for you.
